Sin City's sordid past revealed

Staff Report

Relive Sin City's dark past and learn about the Mob's history with this two-and-a- half-hour bus tour that uncovers the sordid history of Las Vegas.

Robert Allen, CEO and founder of Vegas Mob Tour, says he based his tour on the stories found in the popular book "The Battle for Las Vegas" and personal interviews with Dennis Arnoldy, a retired FBI Special Agent.

The experience begins with tales about the mob's connection with Vegas. You'll visit the sites around town where murders, strange disappearances and mob activity occurred. Tour guides, dressed appropriately in pinstriped suits and fedoras, weave eerie stories about Las Vegas' darkest secrets.

Guests learn the truth about the notorious gangster/casino builder Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, infamous mob enforcer Tony "The Ant" Spilotro and casino boss Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal.

Celebrity deaths, suicides and many other unsolved Nevada mysteries are also discussed on the tour.
